Methodology & Transparency
How this archive is built, sourced, verified, and maintained. Essential reading for journalists, researchers, and anyone evaluating the credibility of this project.
"This site compiles and organizes publicly available records and source material for public-interest review. Inclusion of a complaint, filing, allegation, or related public record does not by itself establish liability or wrongdoing. Readers should consult original sources for full context."
What This Archive Is
The Holdover Project is a public-interest archive that organizes publicly available records, court filings, consumer complaints, regulatory references, and corporate disclosures related to Hudson Homes Management LLC and associated entities.
The goal is to make it easier for families, advocates, journalists, researchers, and policymakers to find, review, and understand the documented public record in one place.
What This Archive Is Not
This is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Nothing on this site should be construed as legal guidance for any specific situation.
This is not affiliated with any government agency, court system, law firm, tenant advocacy organization, or the companies discussed herein.
This archive does not make determinations of legal liability or wrongdoing. Documented court activity, complaints, and regulatory references do not by themselves establish guilt, liability, or violation.
How Sources Are Selected
Court case information is sourced from public dockets accessed via UniCourt, Justia, Trellis, DocketAlarm, and direct court search portals.
Regulatory actions are sourced from official agency press releases, enforcement orders, or public databases (SEC EDGAR, CFPB consumer complaint database).
Corporate structure information is sourced from the companies' own public websites, SEC investment adviser filings, and Wikipedia.
Consumer complaint data is sourced from public platform profiles (BBB, CFPB database) and attributed to those platforms with the date of access.
Attribution & Language Standards
Every factual claim on this site is attributed to its source. Language such as "according to the filing," "public records show," "the complaint alleges," "the docket reflects," and "per the cited source" is used throughout.
Allegations are always distinguished from adjudicated findings. A filed complaint is described as an allegation; a resolved regulatory action with agreed penalties is described as such.
This archive does not use language implying criminal liability or intent unless directly quoting a source that explicitly establishes an adjudicated criminal finding.
Unresolved matters are presented as unresolved, not as final findings.
Verification Badge System
Verified Public Record: Sourced from court dockets, official corporate filings, or regulatory orders accessible via direct public source link.
Agency Source: Sourced from a government agency database, press release, or enforcement order.
News Report: Sourced from published journalism, investigative reporting, or law firm public analysis.
User-Submitted: Information provided directly by users. Not independently verified. Never presented as established fact.
How Complaint Counts Are Measured
Complaint counts reflect figures reported on the cited platform's public profile page at a specific point in time. This archive does not independently audit complaint data.
Counts are presented with the source, date range, and a note explaining how they were measured.
Complaint counts may change over time. Always check the original platform for current figures.
The presence of a complaint on a consumer platform does not mean the complaint was validated, upheld, or acted upon by any authority.
Limitations of This Archive
This archive does not represent a complete record of all court activity, complaints, or regulatory actions involving the named entities.
Court records vary significantly in their public accessibility by jurisdiction. Some records may not be available online.
The absence of a record in this archive does not mean no such record exists.
